What we collect when you book, pay or create an account with SS Pet Clinic — and what we do with it.
What we collect
Owner details
Your name, phone number, optional email address and optional address.
Pet information
Pet name, species, breed, age, and the health concern or notes you describe.
Appointment data
Chosen doctor, date, time, reference ID, booking status and clinic notes about the visit.
Payment evidence
Easypaisa transaction IDs and payment screenshots you upload when paying the booking fee online.
Uploaded images
Photos of your pet or documents you send us through the site or WhatsApp for clinical context.
Account data
If you create a portal account: your sign-in email and consent timestamps. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider.
Why we collect it
- To confirm, schedule and reschedule your appointment.
- To contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email about your booking or your pet's care.
- To keep an accurate clinical and vaccination record for your pet.
- To verify the PKR 500 booking fee and match it to your visit.
- To meet documentation requirements for services such as export permits and microchipping.
How it is stored
Data is stored in a managed, access-controlled cloud database. Access is restricted to SS PET CLINIC staff accounts (doctors and admin) through role-based permissions, and uploaded receipts and images are kept in a private storage area that is not publicly listable.
Records are kept for as long as needed for your pet's clinical history and for legal or accounting requirements, and are removed on request where no legal duty requires us to keep them.
We do not sell your data
SS PET CLINIC does not sell, rent or trade your personal data or your pet's records to third parties, and we do not share them for advertising. Information is shared only where it is necessary to deliver the service you asked for — for example a referral laboratory, a partner for export or titer testing, or a payment/hosting provider processing data on our behalf — or where the law requires it.
Your choices and data requests
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete your account and records. We respond during clinic hours (10:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Daily)).
Data liability waiver
SS PET CLINIC employs standard technical measures to safeguard personal data in compliance with applicable Pakistani laws (including PECA) and international privacy guidelines. However, electronic storage and internet transmissions involve inherent risks. By creating an account and utilizing our services, you acknowledge that data submission is at your own risk. SS PET CLINIC, its owners, staff, and veterinary practitioners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from unauthorized third-party data breaches, cyber attacks, or system failure. You explicitly waive any right to initiate legal proceedings or monetary claims against SS PET CLINIC regarding data security incidents.
