What a consultation looks like
- 1History and full physical examination — weight, temperature, heart and lungs, eyes, ears, skin and mouth — with your pet's vaccination card if you have one.
- 2Where the examination is not conclusive, in-house laboratory work or an ultrasound scan is done in the same visit rather than referring you elsewhere.
- 3A written plan: medicines from the in-clinic pharmacy, a vaccination or deworming date, or a surgery slot with fasting instructions and a follow-up check.
Questions pet owners ask
- Can Dr. Saad handle the full pet export process from Pakistan?
- Yes. He places the ISO 11784/11785 microchip, arranges rabies vaccination and titer testing where the destination requires it, and prepares the health certificate and export paperwork for UK, EU, USA, Canada, Australia and Gulf destinations. Start at least a few months before travel, because titer testing and waiting periods set the timeline.
- Does he operate on cats and dogs at the clinic?
- Yes — spay and neuter procedures and soft-tissue surgery are done at SS Pet Clinic in Sector E. Surgery is booked for a fixed slot after a pre-operative examination, and you are told the fasting time and collection time in advance.
- Does he see birds and exotic pets?
- Yes. Avian and exotic care is one of his areas — parrots and other cage birds, rabbits and small pets. Call 0325-8115457 before coming so the species and the reason for the visit can be noted.
